International Sleep Research Training Program

The International Sleep Research Training Program (ISRTP) is a one-on-one mentorship program in sleep research. Each mentee is matched with a specific mentor in their field of interest, moving to the mentor’s institution for the duration of the program. The program is one year long (July through June).
Mentees complete a research project and undergo additional training in research project management, scientific communication, and leadership. Mentees regularly meet online with the other mentees in their cohort and receive funding to attend the World Sleep congress. Over forty mentees have participated in ISRTP, creating a worldwide network of young and mid-career sleep researchers.
