Member Since 2018
The Hong Kong Society of Sleep Medicine is a registered society with a membership of around 70. It consists of doctors and allied health professionals practising in the field of sleep medicine. Doctors come from different specialties including Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Otolaryngology, Paediatrics, Dentistry. The Society also has an RPSGT committee that regularly organises CPD/AAST courses.
Our society is also a member of the Asian Sleep Research Society and the Asian Society of Sleep Medicine.
Activities and Accomplishments
We organized our Annual Scientific Meeting annually. Every year, we invited international speakers to give keynote lectures in the meeting. Our members have also participated actively in various international sleep meetings.
We have also committed to sleep medication education and qualification. We have organized courses for sleep medicine examination for our members. Some of our members have passed the examination organised by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (International) and the International Sleep Examination organized by the World Sleep Federation (22 members).
