The Founding Committee of Asian Sleep Research Society (ASRS) was formed in New Delhi, India, on 10.9.1992 which led to the formation of ASRS on June 16, 1994 at Tokyo, Japan It is an international scientific organization with an objective to promote all aspects of sleep research by organization of scientific meetings, promotion of training and education, dissemination of information and establishments of fellowships and awards.
