World Sleep 2017 Honoraria and Reimbursement Policy

Honoraria
World Sleep Foundation does not provide honoraria to academic planners, committee members, co-chairs, or speakers. No individual involved in a CME activity may receive payments directly from a commercial interest, including honoraria, travel, out-of-pocket expenses or other payments.

Reimbursement
Generally, speakers receiving an invitation from the Program Committee are eligible to receive complimentary registration and reimbursement of additional costs which they incur due to their contribution.

Keynote Speakers

  • Complementary registration
  • Transportation to Prague (coach fare arranged by our travel office)
  • Ground transportation
  • Hotel accommodations for 3 to 4 nights based on need
  • Access to all social activities

Program Committee and Scientific Committee Chairs

  • Complimentary registration
  • Hotel accommodations for 2 nights: Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7

Course Speakers

  • Complimentary registration
  • Hotel accommodations for 1 or 2 nights based on the date of the course
    • Saturday Course Speakers:
      • 2 nights: Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7
    • Sunday Course Speakers:
      • 1 night: Saturday, October 7

Invited Symposium, Technologist, and Surgeon Presenters

  • Complimentary registration

Submitted Symposium and Affiliated Meetings

Accepted submitted symposium (submitted by December 1, 2016) and affiliated meeting speakers must register to participate in the congress.  Unfortunately, the congress is unable to provide honoraria or reimbursements for speaker travel or registration fees to submitted symposium or affiliated meeting speakers.

Hotel Reimbursement Policy
Unless prior approval is obtained, all complimentary hotel stays must be booked under the official congress block in order to qualify for reimbursement. Booking instructions will be provided.
